The Grow on Purpose® System (GPS)
Grow your business without growing your hours.
Over 9 weeks, expert consultants and coaches re-architect their business to run on their unique value, economics, and systems, so they escape their golden cage and build real profit, leverage, and freedom.
What is Grow on Purpose?
GPS is a 9-week strategic cohort program for consultants, coaches, and experts whose business has reached a capacity ceiling. They can’t grow more without working more hours they don’t have.
You redesign your business one piece at a time, so it grows on its design instead of on your hours. You don't pile more onto your plate. You make one real decision about your business each week and build it into your plan. You finish with a complete written Blueprint you run from, and a room of peers who built theirs alongside you.

Who is this for?
GPS is for the expert who has hit a ceiling. You're good at what you do, you're booked, and clients pay well for it. You've built a real business, past $100,000 a year. But you've maxed out what one person can produce.
There's more work available than you can take on, and taking it would cost hours you don't have. You've hit the ceiling of your own capacity, and you're ready to change that this year.
This is for you if
You run a proven consulting, coaching, or expert business past $100,000 a year, solo or with a small team
You still do the core work yourself, and you're booked to your limit
You know you need to build more scalability, but you're too busy doing the work to think about it
You want a small room of trusted peers in the same seat
You want clear, proven steps guided right alongside you, not vague theory to figure out alone
This is nOT for you if
You are a complete beginner in your field with no expertise or experience
You are chasing your first clients
You just want to make more money and don’t care how many hours it takes
You're not willing to change how your business works
You can’t protect 4-6 hours a week for 9 weeks
You don't care whether you grow your business ethically
Why i built this
Hi. I’m Colleen. I've burned out twice. Both times, I was succeeding. That was the problem.
The first time, I was in the C-suite. So I did what experts do: I went out on my own, built a consulting practice as a fractional CMO and growth advisor, and got good at it. Successful, even. Then I burned out again. The business only worked when I was the one working it, every project, every day. I had traded one cage for a nicer one.
The second time showed me the real problem. It wasn't how many clients I had, or how hard I worked. It was how I'd built it. I was in every project, every sale, every fix, so every new client cost me more hours, not fewer.
The more successful I got, the less of my life I had.
I wanted to grow more without working more. I wanted to travel, spend time with my family, prioritize my health, and actually enjoy slow and calm coffee in the morning… while earning more. So I started designing for optimal instead of maximum, and I built the systems that kept the business running when I stepped away, instead of stalling the second I did.
That work became a method, and the method became GPS.
It's the program I wish someone had handed me the second time around.
The Architect Network
The nine weeks might end, but the room doesn't. When you finish, you join the Architect Network, a group of people who run their businesses by design instead of grind. It's where the plan you built keeps working long after the program.
-
Four times a year you step out of the day-to-day and work on the business with your peers, led by me.
-
Small groups of 3/4, meeting monthly, so you always have people who know your business and hold you to your plan.
-
A private space to ask a question, share a win, or get a fast read from people in the same seat.
-
Once a year, in person. The whole community in one room to reset and plan the year ahead.
The founding cohort
The first cohort starts Thursday, January 21, 2027. Twelve seats, filled by application.

Plan on about 4 to 6 hours a week during the nine weeks, including the 90-minute live call. This is a build, not a course. You watch short lessons on your own time, do the work in your workbook, and join the cohort call every Thursday. After the program, you have the option to continue in the Architect’s Community.
-
Each Thursday call closes out the module you just worked and launches the next one. You then have the full week to watch the lessons and do that module's work before the next Thursday, when it gets discussed and the following module opens. Weekends are yours.
-
It's a cohort. Not a course you watch alone, and not generic group coaching. Each week, in addition to Q&A time, one or two founders' actual in-progress work gets coached live in front of the room, on a set rotation, so everyone learns from real design being built. Every founder gets a turn. Nothing is submitted or graded. You also have a direct line to me during the program for what comes up in between.
-
The program is built for real businesses, which means fires and lost weeks happen. There's a clear way to triage a week you lose: do the pieces that matter most, mark the rest, and keep moving with the cohort. You cross the finish line with everyone else. Falling behind doesn't drop you out. It's designed in.
-
A Master Blueprint: a complete, written design for your business across all seven areas you work, plus a simple dashboard you keep using to see whether it's working. Not notes, not inspiration. The design itself, built for your business, that you run from the day the program ends.
-
The method is built for proven experts who still do the core work themselves, across the range: consultants, coaches, advisors, specialists. It adapts to how you actually sell and deliver rather than forcing one model on everyone. If the work still comes down to you and there's a real business to redesign, the method has something to organize.
-
No. The founders who need this most are usually the ones whose genius is in their craft, not in operations. The program teaches you to design the systems, and the tools stay simple. You don't arrive knowing how.
-
Most programs hand you frameworks and good intentions. This is a build. You don't leave with ideas about your business. You leave with the actual design for it, worked alongside a room of peers in the same seat, that you run from the day the program ends.
-
No catch. It's $3,500 because you're founding. The same program will be $7,000 or more for the next cohort, and likely $15,000 to $25,000 at maturity. You get the founding price because your experience and feedback help build what GPS becomes. You're not getting a sale. You're getting a stake.
-
You fill out a short application, we talk about whether it's the right fit, and if it is, you enroll. Applying doesn't commit you to anything. It starts a conversation.
