Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Catapult North collects when you use this website, subscribe to the newsletter, apply to or take part in the Grow on Purpose System, and what is done with it. The terms of the program are at www.catapultnorth.com/terms.

1. What is collected

  • Newsletter. Your email address, when you subscribe. The newsletter is sent through Kit.
  • Contact form. Your name, email address and message.
  • Application. What you enter on the application form: your name, email address, website, a description of your work, the number of paying clients, the age of your business, its approximate annual revenue, your written answers, your availability, and whether you would consider a testimonial.
  • Enrollment. If you enroll, your payment is processed by Stripe. Catapult North receives your name, email address, the amount paid and the last four digits of your card, and does not receive or store your full card number. Your account in the program community on Circle holds your name, email address, profile, and anything you post there. Live sessions are held on Zoom and recorded, as stated in the program terms.
  • Calls. If you book a call, the booking is made through Calendly. Calls are held on Zoom or Microsoft Teams and may be recorded and transcribed by Fathom.
  • Site use. This website runs on Squarespace. Squarespace and any analytics tools Catapult North uses record visits, pages viewed, approximate location, and the device and browser used, using cookies and similar technologies.

2. How it is used

  • Applications are used to decide whether to offer you a seat and to correspond with you about it.
  • Enrollment and community information is used to run the program and to communicate with you about it.
  • Your email address is used to send you the newsletter, if you subscribed, and to reply to you, if you wrote.
  • Site analytics are used to understand how the site is used.
  • Catapult North does not sell personal information and does not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

3. Who it is shared with

Catapult North uses service providers to run its website, its email and its program, and they hold your information on Catapult North's behalf to the extent needed to provide their service: Squarespace (website and forms), Kit (newsletter), Stripe (payments), Circle (the program community), Zoom (live sessions and calls), Calendly (bookings), Fathom (call recordings and transcripts), Microsoft 365 (email and calendar), Google Drive (document storage), and analytics providers. Information shared within a cohort is covered by section 8 of the program terms. If Catapult North or the program is sold or merged, personal information transfers with it, under this policy. Catapult North discloses personal information otherwise only where the law requires it.

4. How long it is kept

  • Applications from people who do not enroll are deleted twelve months after the enrollment deadline of the cohort applied to.
  • Information about members is kept for the duration of the program and the access period stated in the program terms, and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Newsletter and contact information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be removed.

5. Your choices

  • Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link.
  • You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information Catapult North holds about you by emailing colleen.kranz@catapultnorth.com. Requests are answered within thirty days. Information that the law requires Catapult North to keep, such as payment records, is kept for that period.
  • You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking them does not prevent you from reading this site. This site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

6. Other sites

This site links to other sites and services, including Circle, Stripe, Zoom, Calendly and LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own and are not covered by this policy.

7. Security

Catapult North relies on the security measures of the providers named above and limits access to personal information to what running the business requires. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be secure.

8. Children

This website and the program are for business owners and are not directed to anyone under eighteen. Catapult North does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen.

9. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date at the top.
